Summer Camp

The learning doesn’t have to end when the school year is over! Join us for an enriching summer camp experience tailored for children aged 3-6. Our program offers a fun and safe environment that not only embraces but also nurtures your child’s innate curiosity, fostering exploration to learn from the captivating world that surrounds them.

Our one-week long sessions are offered from June through the beginning of August, with a new exciting topic of exploration each week.

Enrollment in our Summer Camp doesn’t require prior school year attendance. It’s open to all who wish to join!

We also provide Additional Care services before and after camp hours, mirroring the regular academic school year schedule. Details for each year’s summer camp program are typically released in May, just before the summer season begins.

This summer you could see your child…

Explore a love for learning

Each week has an exciting new topic to help your child learn more about the world around them. Depending on the week, they might be exploring the vast sea life in the oceans or painting a masterpiece to hang on the refrigerator.  Continue below to see the camp weeks themes.

Make friends and develop socially

We follow the Montessori tradition of multi-age classrooms which promotes the opportunity for children to form meaningful relationships and improve their ability to interact with peers.

Gain independence and improve problem-solving skills

We prioritize child-led learning and use a variety of hands-on activities that encourage exploration and creativity. This benefits not only their cognitive development, but also their fine motor skills and confidence.

Frequently Asked Questions…

What does the Summer Camp cost?

The MMS Summer Camp with Regular Hours starts at $215/week.  With Additional Care added, the cost is $400/week.  If you elect to book the entire 8 weeks for $2,600, you can save 19%!  See our Tuition page additional details.

What will my child's daily routine be like?

Each morning, the campers enjoy free play and exploration, engaging with materials that correspond to the camp week’s theme. In the afternoons, they have the opportunity to expend extra energy on our playground, where they can participate in active play with other campers and enjoy outdoor activities.

Weather permitting, as a special treat to wrap up the week, Fridays are sprinkler days, providing campers with a refreshing way to cool off and have fun running through the water.

What should my child bring to camp?

Campers are welcome to wear their favorite fun clothes most days. Additionally, they should bring a water bottle and snacks tailored to their dietary needs.

On Fridays, weather permitting, we host a mini water park for the campers, so a swimsuit would be appropriate attire for those days.

How is the camp staff trained?

Our staff receives training in Montessori-focused child development, behavior management, safety procedures, and emergency protocols to ensure the well-being and security of all campers.

How does the camp handle allergies and dietary restrictions?

Our staff prioritizes the health and safety of our campers.  Parents are encouraged to provide detailed information about their child’s allergies or dietary needs upon enrollment, which is carefully communicated to our staff.  Open communication with parents ensures that the individual needs are met for each camper.
